Volume 120 - Rest in the Endsleys

Beautiful venue.

Joining of families.
Of friends.
Of coworkers.

Remy cooking noodles and eggrolls for the rehearsal dinner.

Rafa and Standridges making guacamole.

Groomsmen moving all of the chairs inside last minute.

Todd taking the photos.

Matt helping everyone park.

Alana leading as wedding planner.

Brad officiating.

Josh Olson DJ-ing.

Carly and Abby opening the doors.

Sawyer and Opal cutting the cake.

Gerry running to Dollar General during reception to get things to decorate the get away car.

Every one cleaning up the tables and chairs at the end... in less than 5 minutes.

This wedding was special. A beautiful depiction of community - a perfect way to celebrate a marriage.

No random officiant showing up.
No photographer you meet the day of.
No unknown band or DJ.

Instead, all people who love the bride and groom. Who were willing to use their individual gifts and talents to serve the couple on their special day.

Not our of obligation, but out of confidence of the fact that Ty and Yellerton would absolutely step up to help on any one else's wedding.

Together, they are outward focused, always thinking about how they can invest and serve others.

Every part of the weekend was meaningful. The room was full of people who love these two and have been impacted by their time with them.

Impacted by their investment in the Mt. Ida community and Ozone.

Impacted by the way they love our international staff.

Impacted by the incredible work ethic that they exemplify.

Impacted by their selfless love for their coworkers.

Sometimes we can be too prideful to ask for others to help, not wanting to burden them or take their time... But may we remember that it's a beautiful gift to allow others the opportunity to serve!

Here's to Ty and Yellerton! Who's marriage has begun in the best way possible - surrounded by a community of people who love them and are ready to be a part of their marriage!

I continually found myself talking about how excited I was for the wedding, sometimes even claiming that I might have been more excited than Yellerton! I knew it was going to be special. So many people that we love coming together to celebrate.

As I looked around, I continued to in awe of the Ozark Family. Ranging from the Directors to Summer Staff. From current permanent staff to old. What a special group of people, bonded with such a unique bond created through all being on mission together and holding one another accountable in the execution of the mission.

We surely can rest when surrounded by a wonderful community!
