"There's joy in the house of the LordOur God is surely in this placeAnd we won't be quietWe shout out Your praise"

"I won't be quiet, my God is aliveSo how could I keep it inside?Praise the LordOh, my soul"

"Isn't He goodIsn't He greatIsn't He faithfulLook at my lifeLook what He's doneIsn't He able"

! LOUD ENVIRONMENT !

On Wednesday night, AC received the loud environment notification on her Apple watch multiple times throughout the night at the Phil Wickham, Kristian Stanfill and Cody Carnes concert.

Banging drums?

Electric guitars?

Flashing lights?

No...

What was the loud environment?

Simply three guys on an acoustic guitar, a piano and the voices of the people singing out!

It was a beautiful sound.

One I would like to bottle up and keep in my pocket with me every day.

I took a deep breath and soaked up the beauty of believers coming together in worship, singing out words that we know to be true about a God who is good.

The moment of unity, as we all come from different walks of lives, with different current circumstances all around the room, yet all singing out the same words that we know to be true about a God who is good.

AC's apple watch probably thought she was at a rock concert, but instead it was just worship.

And isn't that beautiful?? How it should always be??

May my praise be one that alerts the loud environment notification!

(No, not my singing ok because no one wants to hear me sing....)

But through the way I live.
Through the way I speak.
Through the way I work.
Through the way I treat others.

May it all be a reflection of my gratitude for Jesus! My praise of acknowledging that I am unworthy but I am thankful.

This weekend, we experienced a few other loud environments...

Cidercade. Slick City. Saint Arnold Brewing.

The sounds of laughter and screams and playful conversations.

The sounds of Sabbath. Finding rest in the childlike joy.

May life be full of loud environments caused by worship and joy! Amen.
