Volume 98: Rest in Heaven Gathering
Beck teacher group message randomly coming back to life, sending videos and remembering how much fun we used to have together.
Eating lunch with Andrew and Adeline at Vine St. Deli, prophesying the Vanderbilt victory over Bama.
Sitting next to Annabel, watching our old Wyldlife teammate, Colby Cole, get married, with another teammate, Hal, standing by his side.
Watching communion at Rock Creek, as the families walk up and kneel at the pews together.
Sharing a meal with Debbie and Wade (and Bruce of course), as if no time has passed since the OG Chatt office.
Champion Cathy questioning the pickleball score, not wanting to announce our lead in fear of upsetting the Vosses...
Relaxing on the couch with newborn baby Murphy asleep on my chest, catching up with Frannie.
Listening to the banter of the recruiters in the office, as they returned to the office for the week.
People. All of these moments happening in a four day span.
How special are the relationships in our lives. I have been blessed in every season of life in being surrounded by people I adore!
Yet, as I have gotten older, I find my heart aching more and more as my people become spread out among the country... Macon, Athens, Greenville, Chattanooga, Atlanta, Nashville, Colorado, Columbus, Houston, Arlington (couldn't leave it off!!!) and more...
What I would give to have all my people in one place (I'm almost to the point of planning a fake wedding just so I can make this happen...).
And then it hit me... the reminder that this is just another reason we have to look forward to Heaven! Our forever home of no pain or sadness or separation!
May that also continue to stir in me an urgency for the gospel - for the people I love to be in Heaven with me!
