Volume 8 : Rest in Family
But, you know, I think that's what it's all about! The people who love you no matter what...
Between the siblings growing in maturity and adding two babies to the family, it's been really sweet to see how our family is growing closer.
I used to be hesitant to spend a whole weekend with my family, but these days, it's something I really look forward to. It's become a group I feel completely safe with. While I am still misunderstood because of my faith, there is so much value in being around the people that have known me my whole life.
The weekend consisted of watching Frozen first thing in the morning, eating Dad's burnt burgers, still losing to my brother in ping pong, playing pickleball with beautiful landscape, running around outside throwing Sadie's toy, watching the dawgs beat Auburn, and discussing Dad's research of how a family cabin can ruin family relationships in the future... A great weekend!
As I left the cabin, I was thankful that my family is now a source of rest. And may I continue to rest in the fact that as I continue to bring my family to the feet of Jesus, He will move in their hearts and I can trust Him to do the work.
